Bear Grylls and Man vs. Wild : Reality-Free Reality TV

I used to admire Bear Grylls, and I was shocked when Bear Grylls was exposed as a fraud. However, I expected him to apologize, and be done with it.
Alas, my admiration of Bear Grylls dissipated, when his only statement was:

Re: the recent press accusations around Man Vs Wild and any stagings in the show, [...]

Man vs. Wild Marathon

Discovery will broadcast 14 consecutive hours of Man vs. Wild reruns today, from 9 A.M. to 11 P.M.

Bear Grylls has risen from disgrace, and Man vs. Wild is now the number one cable show in America. I am looking forward to Bear’s Mission Everest more than any television show [...]

Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions

Hello again. I took a break while the Giants were off.
TV for Thinkers
I hope you are watching Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions, which is continuing until next Friday, November 16th.
The contestants on Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions are previous winners, competing for a $250,000 cash prize. The questions (or answers) are much harder than “regular” Jeopardy! I [...]
