US files extradition request for Roman Polanski, who faces up to two years in prison.

Roman Polanski is wanted and desired by a Judge in Los Angeles.

United States has finally filed a formal extradition request to Switzerland for Roman Polanski. Swiss will discuss this in court soon, and Polanski’s attorneys can appeal their decision, and drag it out.

Polanski will remain locked up during his expected appeal, because he was denied bail last week. His attorney claimed that needed to be released, because his family would go bankrupt if he is unable to complete his latest film, “The Ghost.” It is the tenth film Polanski has directed since he became a fugitive in 1977.

A spokeswoman for California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, said Polanski faces up to two years in prison. Under Swiss laws he can only be extradited for his original
crime, not for jumping bail.

French Update

I previously wondered why French think Polanski should be freed, and I am more confused now.

There are now 833 names on the SACD petition, and three other prominent Frenchmen have argued that Polanski should be freed.

French President Nicholas Sarkozy said:

“I understand that people are shocked by the gravity of the accusations against Roman Polanski. But I add that it is not a good administration of justice to do this 32 years after the facts when the person concerned is today 76 years old.”

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, best known as co-founder of Doctors Without Borders said:

“A man of such talent, recognized in the entire world, recognized especially in the country that arrested him — all this just isn’t nice”

Finally, Frédéric Mitterrand, French Minister of Culture and Communication, and nephew of former President Miterrand said:

“To see him like that, thrown to the lions because of ancient history, really doesn’t make any sense”

Critics of Miterrand noted that in 2005, he published an “autobiographical novel,” The Bad Life, where he described having sex with young male prostitutes in Thailand. Mitterand responded, saying:

“I condemn pedophilia, which I have never in any way participated in”

Then why is he defending a pedophile?

After Roman Polanski is finally apprehended for raping young girl, French and American film communities want pedophile released

In 1977, a 44-year-old man, was arrested after he raped a 13-year-old girl. A Los Angeles Grand Jury indicted this miscreant for “rape by the use of drugs”. Indictment said he:

“did willfully unlawfully and feloniously have and accomplish an act of sexual intercourse with a thirteen-year-old girl, she then and there being rendered temporarily incapable of giving legal consent to the commission of said act by the administration to her of intoxicating narcotic, anesthetic substance, controlled substance, and intoxicating liquor, to wit, Quaalude and alcohol…”

He pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of “unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor” and was sent to Chino State Prison, for 90 days of psychiatric evaluations. Pervert was released after 42 days, and awaited sentencing.

This demented deviant inexplicably expected to be placed on probation, and avoid prison. On the day before his sentencing, he somehow learned that he would be sent to prison, and deported when he was released. So he avoided the company of other convicted perverts, by fleeing to Europe, where he has lived a charmed life, for over 30 years.

You Are A Winner!

Just like illegal aliens, who are arrested after winning lotteries, this pretentious pedophile was lured with a prize. Only his prize was a lifetime achievement award at Zurich Film Festival!

Sandi Gibbons, of Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said:

“It wasn’t a big secret that he was going to be in Zurich. They had announced he was going on the Internet.”

Degenerate’s name is Roman Polanski. He is 76-years-old, and I hope he spends the remainder of his life consorting with other criminals in prison, for raping Samantha Geimer. In 2003, she said:

It was not consensual sex by any means. I said no, repeatedly, but he wouldn’t take no for an answer. I was alone and I didn’t know what to do. It was scary and, looking back, very creepy. Those may sound like kindergarten words, but that’s the way it feels to me.

Polanski almost got away with it. In a 2003 interview with Larry King, Geimer said:

I told him <samp>(boyfriend)</samp> what happened and my sister overheard me because she happened to be outside my room, and then told my mom.

Her mother sued him, and they reached an out-of-court settlement for an undisclosed amount of money. Geimer has asked for Pervert Polanski to be released, but this may have been part of their settlement.

Looking For A Loophole

In 2008, New York Times reported that Polanski’s attorney, Chad S. Hummel, wanted the charges dropped, based upon an interview in a 2008 documentary, Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired. The title refers to Polanski being “wanted” in USA, but “desired” by clueless French fans, who apparently do not believe that it is a big deal for a 44-year-old man to rape and traumatize a 13-year-old girl. Hummel asserts that Judge Laurence J. Rittenband, engaged in “repeated unethical and unlawful ex parte communications,” by obtaining advice from Deputy District Attorney, David Wells.

Apparently, Rittenbrand wanted to release Polanski, until Wells showed him a photo of Polanski, then out on bail, with two young women in Munich, and said:

“Look here. He’s flipping you off”

People ask me computer questions all the time. I do not understand why a Judge cannot be advised by an attorney, in the same office. Isn’t it the same thing?

Hummel’s argument is that California Code of Judicial Ethics <samp>(PDF)</samp> forbids two parties to discuss a case, where only one side is represented. Wells was not an attorney on this case, but he worked for State of California, which charged Polanski with raping the young girl. However, his statement cannot be corrobrated, because Judge Rittenbrand has died.

UPDATE: David Wells Lied!

A few minutes after I published this article, New York Times reported that David Wells lied! Wells said:

“I’ve got to tell you, I lied. I tried to butter up this story to make me look better.”

There goes Pervert Polanski’s defense! Wells added:

“If it happened, it would have been unethical”

Which is just what Chad S. Hummel, Polanski’s attorney complained about!

Yahoo News reported that Wells said he “embellished” story, because he was told that film would be shown in France, not United States. Wells retired two years ago.

Camera Shy?

An excellent article by Bill Wyman <samp>(not the Rolling Stone)</samp>, Whitewashing Roman Polanski, suggests that Polanski did not return to court because he was spooked by courtroom cameras too.

Perverts for Polanski

SACD, a French organization, which “collects and distributes authors’ royalties and fees for 45,000 authors in the field of the performing arts and audiovisual media,” also believes that 44-year-old men should be allowed to rape 13-year-old girls. I am not sure if it extends this belief to all pedophiles, or just perverts like Roman Polanski, who contribute cash to their organization. I do not understand the laws or customs of France; perhaps they consider the act of raping and traumatizing young girls, a recreational activity, like bowling. In any event, I strongly advise any American family, who wants to visit their perverted provinces, to leave their young daughters at home!

If any members of this French society of sexual deviant lovers read this article, I hope they leave a comment, and explain this practice to me, and the thousands of Where Did My Brain Go? visitors, who will eventually read this article too.

Since there is no extradition policy between France and USA, maybe they just hate American laws, who knows?

Say It Loud! I Like Pedophiles and I Am Proud!

SACD, which should clarify its beliefs, by changing its motto from “A Society for and by authors” – to “Society for and by perverted authors and their friends” – has actually done something good. They have made it easy for people like me, fathers of daughters, who abhor pedophiles, to avoid supporting them. SACD circulated a petition, which has been signed by members of the performing arts community, who are rankled by Roman Polanski’s arrest for raping a 13-year-old girl. They are not a bunch of misguided misogynists, because female names appear on this list of looney lewdies too.

I do not recognize all their names, but I will never watch another movie which lists these pedophile-lovers in the credits.

Finally, if you believe that 44-year-old men should be permitted to rape 13-year-old girls, you can add your name to this vile list, by sending an email to freeromanpolanski@sacd.fr with a subject of “Petition Roman Polanski” to show your support. Just don’t tell me about it!

Sarah Palin resigns as Governor of Alaska with 17 months left in her term

Sarah Palin resigned on Sunday, with a speech that made as much sense as her reasons for resigning.

In my opinion, she quit because her approval rating dropped from 93% in June 2007, to 56% in July 2009. Palin has also incurred $500,000 in legal fees defending herself from about 20 lawsuits, claiming ethics violations.

Indeed, Palin’s first statement complained that:

“Political operatives descended on Alaska last August, digging for dirt. The ethics law I championed became their weapon of choice.”

Mike Huckabee commented on her critics, and lawsuits, saying:

“Well, if that had been the case for me, I’d have quit about my first month, because I was a Republican governor in a state where 89 percent of my legislature were Democrats”

The Lamest Excuse

Although she had 17 months left to serve, Palin claimed that she did not want to be a “lame duck” saying:

“And so as I thought about this announcement that I wouldn’t run for re-election and what it means for Alaska, I thought about how much fun some governors have as lame ducks… travel around the state, to the Lower 48 (maybe), overseas on international trade – as so many politicians do. And then I thought – that’s what’s wrong – many just accept that lame duck status, hit the road, draw the paycheck, and “milk it.” I’m not putting Alaska through that – I promised efficiencies and effectiveness! That’s not how I am wired. I am not wired to operate under the same old “politics as usual.” I promised that four years ago – and I meant it.”

If that was true, Presidents would not bother running for a second term.

Palin’s Farewell Speech

Sarah Palin’s farewell address was bizarre. How can anyone believe:

“when I took the oath to serve you, I promised…remember I promised to steadfastly and doggedly guard the interests of this great state like that grizzly guards her cubs, as a mother naturally guards her own.”

She seems to have forgotten that she took an oath to serve a full term!

Jim David of Huffington Post commented:

“Her farewell speech should be required viewing in political science classes until the end of time, so that students can see the ultimate example of style over substance and form over content. Viewing this speech should be accompanied by Dan Quayle’s “Murphy Brown” speech and Bill Clinton’s “I did not have sex with that woman” speech.

Mr. David succinctly summed up Palin, saying:

“the truth is, she is quitting because she has one of the thinnest skins and smallest minds ever to hold office”

Shatner Says It Best

78 year old William Shatner, who enjoys reciting poetry, did a great job turning Palin’s speech into poetry on The Tonight Show.

Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau has finally convened a Grand Jury to investigate the charges against Plaxico Burress. Morgenthau said he expects a decision in “three to four weeks”

Burress is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, and faces a mandatory sentence of 3 1/2 years in jail, for each offense.

Roger Goodell Decision Nears

NBC’s Pro Football Talk reported that Goodell and Burress are expected to meet during the week of August 3 — two weeks from now.

Plaxico Who?

Goodell must suspend Plaxico Burress soon, to keep his name out of headlines, during NFL season.

A timely Grand Jury indictment, followed by a mandatory sentence, will keep his name out of UFL headlines too.

Burress will probably go to jail, despite upbeat reports from his agent and lawyer.

On Friday, <samp>(June 26, 2009)</samp> Drew Rosenhaus, who represents Plaxico Burress, Tweeted:

There are now 5 teams interested in Plaxico. I expect more teams to enter the mix over the next few weeks as well.

I thought it was hysterical, but apparently NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, was annoyed. Because nfl.com reported, that shortly after his agent's silly Tweet, Burress was notified by Adolpho Birch, Vice President of Labor and Law Policy of NFL, that his case was being reviewed by Commissioner Goodell.

Last season's Personal Conduct Policy prohibits:

Possession of a gun or other weapon in any workplace setting, including but not limited to stadiums, team facilities, training camp, locker rooms, team planes, buses, parking lots, etc., or unlawful possession of a weapon outside of the workplace

Burress is guaranteed some sort of suspension, and does not need a contract to be suspended, because under Personal Conduct Policy, the NFL can suspend:

unsigned veterans who were under contract in the prior League Year

I think he will be suspended for a full season, because he is unsigned. Imagine if he drew an eight game suspension, and then, despite Brafman's best efforts, was tried, convicted, and sentenced, before he could play?

Where's the Deal?

Plaxico Burress's attorney, Benjamin Brafman, has been unable to negotiate a deal with NYC, to keep his client out of jail, for over six months. On March 15th, he requested an adjournment, instead of getting it over with. Burress and Brafman do not have to return to Manhattan Criminal Court until September 23rd — after the season has started — which makes no sense to me.

But it sure made sense to Brafman, because after court he boasted:

“I do not see any reason why he should not be able to play this entire season. Even if there is an indictment, it's inconceivable to me in its present posture that this case would proceed to trial until the spring of 2010.

Stacked Deck

I think Plaxico Burress is going to jail, because Mayor Bloomberg said:

“I think it would be an outrage if we didn't prosecute to the fullest extent of the law, particularly people who live in the public domain.”

In 2001, Brafman, working with legendary attorney Johnny Cochran, managed to get Puff Daddy acquitted of weapons and bribery charges, despite 100 witnesses.

Brafman attacked the credibility of the witnesses, saying:

“They want you to conclude on the basis of two pimps from the street, a deadbeat dad, and two people in the club that gave conflicting stories, and lawsuits testimony that has no logic, no merit and does not make sense.”

This time, Brafman does not have Cochran, and there are very credible witnesses.

Benjamin Brafman, attorney for Plaxico Burress appears to be unable to keep his client out of jail.

Plaxico Burress, who is listed as 6'5", 232 pounds, is afraid to go to jail.

His attorney, Benjamin Brafman, announced that he has been unable to reach an agreement with New York City, to keep his client out of jail, and will request an adjourment when the most idiotic New York Giant of all-time, returns to court on Monday.

Burress is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, and faces a mandatory sentence of 3 1/2 years in jail, for each offense.

As previously noted, Mayor Bloomberg, the number one fellow you should not annoy, is very annoyed, because he expects Burress to be a role model for youngsters.

Bloomberg has every right to be annoyed. You simply cannot let people get away with shooting unlicensed handguns in Manhattan night clubs.

Despite rumors that Jets and Bears want to sign him, I think the 31 year-old Burress’s NFL career is over.

Consider that Brafman, a high-profile attorney, who previously defended “Puff Daddy” and Michael Jackson, has been unable to reach an agreement for several months. Plus — Burress still faces some kind of punishment, from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

I think Burress will serve three years, and then be suspended for another year, which will end his career.

Hey Plax! The next time you want to stuff something down your pants, try a codpiece, instead of a loaded gun!
