Channel 4 has cancelled Bear Grylls. Discovery was supposed to bring Man vs. Wild back with a disclaimer, but either changed their minds, or is waiting for the book. Either way, I don't see much of a future for Man vs. Wild with a disclaimer. A disclaimer would allow Bear Grylls to use a stunt double, and Man vs. Wild would not be a survival show: it would be "Bear Grylls meets The Mythbusters." Book would have to be ghostwritten, so it would be finished quickly.

But I don't think that his book will win him back the status he had before the scandal. There isn't much to do about this but let time pass.
