First Powered Paragliders In Antarctica

Antarctica snow surface Bear Grylls and his buddies, are experiencing the endless days of summer in Antarctica.

Yesterday, Grylls described an “action packed 24 hours” — which included, crossing a frozen lake, and “reconnaissance climbs on both the coastal rock peaks and also on the end of the coastal glaciers.”

Later, when they flew one of their biodiesel–powered paragliders — it was the first time that a powered paraglider had been flown in Antarctica.

Congratulations to the team!
