Waiting Seven Years

The New York Giants will try to win their first playoff game in seven years today, when they face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 1 P.M. at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

New York Giants are coming off a tough loss to the unbeaten New England Patriots, while Bucs have rested their starters for the past two weeks.

Are Mistakes A Statistic?

Much of the Giants success depends on the performance of Eli Manning, their erratic quarterback. Buccaneers linebacker Derrick Brooks described Manning perfectly:

“When they are running the football, it makes him a very dangerous quarterback. Whenever he has time to set his feet and make his throws, he’s getting the job done. He’s effective as the running game goes, so does the offense. He’s made plays for them at the end of ball games. He has a knack for making plays at the end and normally making up for some of the mistakes he may have made earlier.”

Let’s hope Eli plays well, and the Giants win!
