Suggestions for blocking external file connections, when testing WordPress on localhost.
WordPress Needs WP_LOCAL for localhost
WordPress crashes if I debug a site on localhost, while I am not connected to the Internet. This is not a bug report. Bug was reported and closed. WordPress should add a WP_LOCAL configuration setting to prevent updates and loading external resources.
